These tablets contain Folic Acid, a water-soluble vitamin of the B group, which is essential to normal blood formation and division of body cells. It contributes to normal amino acid synthesis and homocysteine metabolism, while helping to maintain normal psychological function. Folic Acid helps to reduce tiredness and fatigue and plays a role in maternal tissue growth during pregnancy. In addition, it helps the immune system to function normally. A daily intake of 400µg at least a month prior to conception and for the first 12 weeks of pregnancy is recommended.
