Luaka Ceylon Tea 500 Unbleached Tea Bags

2-3 Cup Tea Bags

This 100% pure quality Ceylon Tea is made from the finest leaves grown 4000-5000 feet above sea level in the Dimbula district of Sri Lanka (formerly Ceylon ).

With its pale golden colour and unique bouquet, this full flavoured tea can be enjoyed with or without milk, or with a slice of fresh lemon.

It is recommended that you infuse the tea for at least 4 minutes to allow the full flavour and bouquet to develop.

All Luaka teas use unbleached filter bags which are chlorine free and kinder to the environment, giving them a natural off-white colour

Luaka teas are based on teas from Sri Lanka because of the variety and quality of teas that are produced in that country

For the teas packed loose into packets the Broken Orange Pekoe grade is used. The tea is black and of a regular size. The liquor has a fair colour and strength and under milk produces a rosy and bright appearance. A denser grade of leaf is used for tea bags being a broken orange pekoe fanning. The leaf is black and produces a coloured liquid with body and some strength. Under milk the appearance is rosy and bright.
