125g of Taylors Imperial Gunpowder Leaf Green Tea presented in an elegant black and gold caddy.

Imperial Gunpowder is so called because the freshly plucked tea leaves are hand rolled in large steel pans over an open fire. As the leaves are rolled they are shaped into tiny pellets or 'shot' that 'explode' when boiling water is poured onto them.

This tea is from from Zhejiang Province of China and has a light, refreshing, clean taste. 

Best served alone or with a slice of lemon.

Use a warmed teapot and add one teaspoon of tea per person and an extra 'one for the pot'. Add water just under the boil and infuse for 2-3 minutes. Serve on its ownor with a slice of lemon. You can top the teapot up with more hot water as you enjoy the tea.
