ORTIS
Beneflora - 7 x 10g Sachets
A combination of Acidophilus & 5 other friendly bacteria, plus Fructo-oligosaccharides (FOS) For all the Family
BENEFLORA
is a probiotic supplement that contains a concentration of friendly bacteria & Fruto-oligosaccharides (FOS) which act as a food source for the bacteria. (these are sometimes called prebiotics and allow the bacteria to colonise afetr ingestion).
One of the main requirements for a healthy gut is a balanced intestinal flora - the combination of good and bad bacteria that live side by side in our intestines and help to break down food. However, this delicate bacterial balance can be easily disrupted by antibiotics, aspirin, bacterial or viral infections, poor diet, stress or sudden lifestyle changes such as holidays.
Including probiotics in our diet helps to sustain the good bacteria helping to ensure a continued healthy balance. A supplement like
BENEFLORA
may be a useful addition to the diet.
