How do I take Vitex agnus-castus?
Take 40 drops of Swiss Herbal Remedies Vitex tincture, mixed with a little cold water, first thing in the morning only. There is no added benefit from taking more during the day.

How soon can I expect results?
The survey of herbalists revealed that most women given Vitex improve in the first 4-8 weeks and total treatment course time can be up to 24 months.

Vitex agnus-castus

Vitex is the number one remedy for the treatment of PMT/PMS. It helps to balance hormone production in the first and second half of the menstrual cycle. Vitex is also a useful herb to try if you are having difficulty getting pregnant.

Do not take Vitex agnus-castus if pregnant or breast-feeding. It is not suitable for children. Do not take Vitex agnus-castus with medication for Parkinson's disease or drugs that affect dopamine levels in the brain.

Is Vitex safe?

Yes. Vitex is a very safe herb with no side effects. It should though be avoided in the following instances:
