What is Hyaluronic Acid?
Hyaluronic Acid is a special mucopolysaccharide occurring naturally throughout the human body. It is found in the greatest concentrations in the synovial fluid of joints, the vitreous humour (fluid) of the eye, and most abundantly in the skin. As we all age, our bodies produce less and less hyaluronic acid.
It’s function in the body is, amongst other things, to bind water and lubricate movable parts of the body, such as joints and muscles. Its consistency and tissue friendliness allows it to be used as an excellent moisturiser and it may promote wound healing.
Hyaluronic acid is one of the most hydrophilic molecules in nature and is described as “Nature’s Moisturiser”.
Directions for use:
Add contents of one sachet into a glass of water daily.
