Equazen
eye q
™
- 60 Capsules
EPA-rich Marine Fish Oil and Virgin Evening Primrose Oil
A unique formulation that may help maintain eye and brain function
eye q
is a combination of the specific omega 3 and omega 6 fatty acids required for optimal eye and brain function, delivered in the form of high grade
natural
oils. Equazen don’t use the word ‘natural’ lightly: in processing and selecting their oils, they ensure that only pure, natural form fatty acids are used. There main reason for this specification is that many who take
eye q
are youngsters, and so they believe this makes it even more important that there are no synthetic or artificial elements within the formulation.
Directions:

eye q ™
for the first time, take 6 capsules per day with food for 12 weeks to ensure optimum intake of long chain fatty acids. After this time, reduce intake to a maintenance level of 2 capsules per day.
Children under 5 years may want to start on 2 capsules a day and gradually build up to 6.
Ingredients:
Hi-EPA fish oil, evening primrose oil, capsule shell (gelatin, glycerol), vitamin E (as d alpha tocopheryl acetate).
Not suitable for vegetarians
Nutritional Information:
per 2 capsules:
Eicosapentaenoic Acid (EPA) 186mg, Docosahexaenoic Acid (DHA) 58mg, Gamma Linolenic Acid (GLA) 20mg, Natural Vitamin E 3.2mg (32% RDA).
eye q ™
contains a special combination of long chain polyunsaturated fatty acids EPA, DHA and GLA from EPA-rich marine oil and pure evening primrose oil. Long chain polyunsaturated fatty acids play an important role in the development of the eye and brain; especially vision, co-ordination, memory and concentration.
The EPA ratio is higher in eye q ™
What sets
eye q ™
apart from other nutritional supplements is its high ratio of EPA to DHA. Equazen uses a unique marine fish oil that has four times more EPA than DHA. This allows the EPA to function better and gives it a more active role in helping to maintain the eye and brain in healthy functioning order.
EPA versus DHA
Scientific studies have shown EPA to play a more important role in brain function than DHA. To make an analogy: if your brain was a car, DHA would play the role of steel as it makes up a large part of the structure and foundation of the brain. But EPA would be the lubricant for its role of assisting communication between nerve ends. Equazen has acted on these findings by using a special marine fish oil with an enhanced level of EPA, but retained relevant amounts of DHA and GLA.
