Lutein is a carotenoid found in fruits and vegetables. It acts as an antioxidant, which may help protect cells against the damaging effects of free radicals. The body cannot manufacture Lutein, so it has to be obtained from food or supplementation. Due to its high antioxidant properties, research indicates Lutein may help play a vital role in maintaining healthy eyes, heart and skin as well as the reproductive system.  

Recommended Daily Intake: For adults and children over 6 years of age, one capsule daily preferably in the morning with breakfast or as advised by a suitably qualified person.
